2007 IAC Finalists Announced

Over 90 Auctioneers from across the globe competed today in the preliminary rounds of the male and female IAC competition. The IAC finals will begin this evening at 7:00 p.m. at the 58th International Auctioneers Conference and Show in San Diego.Men's Division Finalists:

The prestigious competition has been a highlight event of the International Auctioneers Association's Conference and Show for the past 19 years. The first IAC champion was Paul C. Behr, CAI, of Denver, Colorado in 1988. The IAC Women's Division began in 1994 and was won by Marcy Goldring-Denburn, CAI, of Farmington, Illinois.
The men and women's division winners of the IAC will receive a cash prize of $10,000, trophy, and will represent the National Auctioneers Association as its spokespeople throughout the year. IAC competitors are judged on their presentation, chant, voice quality, body language and other elements of effective auctioneering. There is also an interview segment of the competition that participants are judged on
